I graduated from The University of Kentucky with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education in 2012. I am currently furthering my education at Old Dominion University, pursuing a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and School Administration.
My hobbies include anything that takes place outside. Summer is my favorite season as it allows me to do some of my favorite things such as the beach, water sports, swimming, and hiking. Blogging is my newest hobby! I also love crafting, especially for my classroom. Lastly, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. Regardless of what we are doing, when I am around the people I love, life is good.
I whole heartedly believe in sharing ideas and networking between teachers. I believe in the quote that says "If we teach today's children as we taught yesterday's, we will rob them of tomorrow." I believe that in teaching you must stay excited and current. I was so thankful for all of the bloggers that I used to seek advice from in my first year of teaching so I decided to start my own blog to share my ideas, successes, and challenges.
